Module 1: ArcGIS Pro Overview - Orientation
This week marked my introduction to GIS through ArcGIS Pro Overview Orientation Lab. This module introduced me to the foundational aspects of GIS. I started with navigating my way through storage drives, creating and organizing folders, and exploring the basic concepts of maps. As I began crafting my first map, I connected my folders and experimented with various data layers, customizing my map to suit my personal aesthetic. I wrapped up the assignment by successfully exporting my map to it's designated folder. The focus was to familiarize myself with ArcGIS Pro interface. This initial experience allowed me to understand basic functionalities and also gave me an easy hands on experience with GIS software.
